Who influences the composition of a board and what shapes the recruitment of new board members?
At our next SelectionF Norway event, we bring together perspectives from institutional ownership, private equity, and governance for a panel discussion exploring how boards are formed and how board appointments are made.
We are pleased to welcome three experienced speakers:
Anne Lise Gryte, Partner at Wiersholm, Chair of the Nomination Committees of Axactor ASA and Mowi ASA, and a member of several other nomination committees.
Christina Stray, Chief Legal Officer at Folketrygdfondet.
Øistein Widding, Head of Leadership and Talent at Altor.
The conversation will be moderated by Anette Willumsen, CEO of Heder Bank and board member of, among others, Appear ASA and Axactor ASA.
Together, the panel will discuss four perspectives: how owners influence board composition and recruitment; how nomination committees carry out their mandate from owners to develop boards with the right competencies and strong foundations for effective collaboration; the role and responsibilities of nomination committees; and practical advice for candidates seeking board positions.
The conversation will also offer insight into what owners and nomination committees look for when recruiting future board members.

Participation in the first two events is free of charge. By registering for a third event in Selection F, you will automatically be enrolled as a member and invoiced for a 12-month membership
We completely understand that plans sometimes change. At the same time, last-minute no-shows can lead to unnecessary costs and food waste. Therefore, we will introduce a no-show fee if you are registered but do not attend and have not informed us beforehand.
