How can boards drive real impact?

How can board drive real impact?  This discussion will dive into creating value through effective collaboration with management, turning owner directives and priorities into actionable strategies, and how you can make a difference as a board member.

To elaborate on this, we have put together a panel of board executives with broad experience from different owner structures, from commercial companies and non-profit organisations operating both nationally as well as globally.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Turid Elisabeth Solvang founder and managing director of Futrueboards. Turid has experiences from board work and nomination committees in different commercial business and non profit organisations. She was co-founder of Norsk Institutt for styremedlemmer, Europeans Women on Boards and Women in Finance Charter that she is currently heading up.

The panel consists of:

Hilde Britt Mellbye, an experienced CEO with multiple years of board experience in PE-owned companies in Norway, listed companies in Stockholm, as well as family-owned companies and non-profit organisations. Current positions are AMBEA AB (publ),  ACADEMEDIA AB (publ.) and UNICEF Norge.

Anette Willumsen has a long top management background from international companies and is currently CEO of Heder Bank. She has multiple years of board and board committee experience from the Finance, Technology, and Manufacturing industries. Current positions are Appear ASA, View Group AS, Isola AS and Intrum Capital.

Malin Ranheim is a partner and board member in DLA Piper Norway AS, and she is part of the company's corporate department. She has 14 years of experience as a lawyer, has held board positions at multiple companies, and provides advisory services to boards of Norwegian and foreign companies that are established or evaluating establishment in Norway.
